HLB’s CSR initiatives empower us to reach the goals we’re committed to in creating a more inclusive and sustainable future.

With offices in 157 countries and a collective workforce of 46,755 people, HLB recognises the scale of our impact on social issues in and outside our profession, our responsibility to the environment and the communities we operate in across the globe. Corporate Social Responsibility is important to HLB Mann Judd and we are committed to meeting the CSR goals set out in HLB’s global 2027 strategy.

A global approach

HLB’s CSR strategy looks beyond the bottom line. It enables us to power an inclusive, sustainable future by focusing on three strategic pillars:

  1. Diversity & Inclusion
  2. The environment
  3. Communities

Diversity & Inclusion

People are at the heart of everything we do. Creating a culture that is diverse and inclusive presents opportunities for the people we work with and the clients we support. By sharing our differences, opinions and ideas we can achieve the best possible outcomes for our clients and each other. We will support HLB’s Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) pillar by:

  • Engaging in D&I related conversations
  • Advocating for workplace flexibility
  • Promoting leadership behaviour that fosters an inclusive workplace environment where diversity can thrive

The environment

The climate crisis is one of the most pressing issues of our time. HLB firms across the globe are working together to understand, track and quantify our environmental impact.

HLB firms have set goals to reduce our carbon footprint. We will support HLB’s second pillar by:

  • Reducing business travel
  • Reducing energy usage in our offices
  • Recycling, reducing waste and going paperless

Communities

Giving back and being actively involved in our communities has always been important to HLB Cambodia.

Together we help the communities we serve and operate in by:

  • Donating
  • Volunteering

HLB Cambodia actively contributes to this important pillar through various activities and initiatives throughout the year. HLB Cambodia firms also show their support for #HLBCommunities Day, a global annual CSR initiative by HLB to give back to the local communities, by volunteering and donating time to a number of CSR projects.

“HLB’s global reach presents a truly great opportunity to make a difference. Through the strategic objectives of our new CSR strategy, we can ensure that we have a positive impact on the communities we serve and operate in. We will also continue to have a voice on, and constructively continue to, addressing some of the more pressing issues around the world.”https://www.hlb.global/corporate-social-responsibility-and-our-commitment-to-society/

Our approach will continue to evolve as we strive to make a positive change in these three areas. We are committed to creating a more inclusive and sustainable future today and a better world for tomorrow.

  • Engaging in diversity and inclusion related conversations
  • Being an advocate for workplace flexibility
  • Facilitating talent mobility programs for our members
  • Promoting leadership behaviour that fosters workplace diversity and inclusion
